St Paddy's Goodies
I do love a good session in the kitchen and seeing as my boyfriend is Irish, I decided to make him some homemade Guinness truffles for St Patrick's Day (good girlfriend).
They are very easy to make. Just melt down some good quality chocolate with some cream and a few glugs of Guinness, wait for it to set, roll them into balls and cover in coco powder and BOOOM, delightful Guinness-y treats.
I made the pot by glueing the beer label onto an old jam jar, tied a piece of black ribbon around the lid and then stuck the beer top onto a toothpick to make a little truffle fork. They went down very well.
