Faux Pas

Fashion. Travel. Food. Bridget. Gin.

NYE is always a time of complete disaster for me so I was planning on sitting in a padded room on my own to avoid any issues this year. This changed when my favourite ladies and myself decided we would drink lots of champagne and gin and welcome 2015 in style.

We had a beeeeautiful night gossiping, drinking champers and bumping into old friends we didn't expect to see. NYE redeemed itself thanks to my favourite ladies and some gorgeous old faces.

I may have seen in 2015 the same way I saw in 2014 - pissed and single - but it couldn't have been better!

2015 you already shit all over 2014, you sexy bitch.

My gorgeous ladies; I love you all.

It's Boxing Day and I'm already mourning Christmas. It's emotional. I've had a beautiful Christmas with lots of food and champagne and I'm now trying to finish all of the leftovers before my January detox begins. I got myself a new toy in the shape on an Olympus Pen Lite and here's some snaps I took of the festive antics. My brother and I bought our mum a tortoise for Christmas, so here's introducing Meat Pie to the family.

Bring on Christmas 2015! x

It's Christmas Eve tomorrow and I've been wrapped up in Christmas shopping, Christmas parties, Christmas eating and hibernating. Last month Sarah and I put on our glad rags and trotted off to the Ritz for 4 courses of sheer heaven.

The whole afternoon was utterly glamorous and we ate our weight in seriously good food, drank lots of red wine and laughed for hours. I think we were making the most noise in the whole dining room, but we did not care.

Look at these pictures and weep with joy!

A beautiful afternoon with my best bitch.

It's Friday morning and I'm still in bed drinking tea. I love 3 day weekends! I'm lucky enough to be going to the Ritz for lunch this afternoon (so glam) but wanted to post a quick style snapshot of a favourite winter outfit. All thanks to River Island, this is super warm and cute.

Gorgeous detailing on the shirt, cream leather and soft faux fur. Delightful!

Shirt and jacket both from River Island, necklace from Accesorize.

There's nothing I love more than getting glammed up and drinking champagne all night and lucky for me, November will not disappoint. Firstly, I am going for lunch at The Ritz so I can pretend to be sophisticated whilst quaffing expensive champagne and eating lobster. Delicious.

The following weekend, I am going to a medicine ball! It's been so long since I've been to a proper black tie event so a new dress was in order. I headed out for mimosas and breakfast to fuel up before hunting down the perfect ball gown and found the one in the most unlikely of places... Hobbs. It is a wonderful fitted black number with a swishy fishtail bottom. All I need now is some diamonds.

Bring on the champagne and the doctors. Stay classy!

Halloween fell on a Friday this year which was the perfect excuse to get dressed up and drink too much vodka. Hember and myself decided we were going out very last minute so a costume was going to have to be pulled out of nowhere. After some thought we decided the easiest option was dead dolls. Facepaint would have to save the day and transform us for the evening.
Here are the efforts.

Costume details: black dress - Jones & Jones, over the knee socks - Tesco, black wedges - Aldo, red clutch - TK Maxx
